Alan's take on the weather: "... like something out of a 70s horror movie 9 miles of howling wind, driving heavy rain and hail stones the size of golf balls on the bleak miserable moors. Felt like Jayne Eyre lost on her way to Lord Rochester's pad. 36 hardy souls survived the ordeal".
